Description
Botulax 200U is a high-purity botulinum toxin type A manufactured by Hugel Pharma in South Korea. Each vial contains 200 Units of active toxin, combined with human serum albumin (0.5 mg) and sodium chloride (0.9 mg). Clinically comparable to Allergan® Botox®, Botulax is designed to temporarily relax targeted muscles—effectively softening dynamic wrinkles, refining facial contours, and treating hyperhidrosis.

Composition & Presentation

Dosage & Administration
Reconstitute with sterile, preservative-free 0.9% sodium chloride. For example, use 5 mL of saline to achieve a 40 U/mL concentration. Swirl gently to dissolve completely—avoid vigorous shaking. Use within 24 hours of reconstitution. Inject intramuscularly using a 24–30G needle and adjust dosage based on indication:

• Glabellar lines: 20 Units across 5 injection sites

• Blepharospasm: 1.25–2.5 Units per injection site

• Lower limb spasticity (diplegia): 6 Units/kg, not exceeding 200 Units per session
